Works on 1.6 kilometres storm drain progress steadily

Construction of the 1.6-kilometer storm drain is ongoing. It runs from Old Barrier to Westhills Mall on the Accra-Winneba Highway.

The Ghana Hydrological Authority (GHA) is leading this project. They are working with Kwemond Construction on this initiative.

This project is part of the National Flood Control Programme by the government.

Once completed, it will reduce flooding during heavy rains in vulnerable areas.

In an interview with The Ghanaian Times, Mr. Ebenezer Cobina spoke about the project. He is the Project Manager at Kwemond Construction. He mentioned that this work is the second phase of a larger effort.
