World Autism Day: Parents asked to seek early treatment for signs of autism - Ghanaian Times

Parents should seek early treatment for children showing signs of autism. Signs include delayed communication and repetitive behavior.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability. It affects communication, social interactions, and behavior due to brain differences.

Mrs. Grace A. Nkrumah, CEO of Bright Steps International School, emphasized the importance of early treatment. She believes it can significantly improve the lives of affected children.

Mrs. Nkrumah spoke to The Ghanaian Times in Accra yesterday. This was part of the school’s activities for World Autism Awareness Day.
