The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has exciting news. Under CEO Malik Basintale, YEA partnered with SoccaBet Ghana. They have opened a new job application portal for Ghanaians.
This initiative comes from a one-year agreement between YEA and SoccaBet. Their goal is to create 500 jobs for young people in Ghana.
Interested applicants can apply at: http://apply.yea.gov.gh. The deadline for applications is April 30, 2025.
This collaboration supports YEA’s mission to reduce youth unemployment. It also aims to address income disparities by working with the private sector. SoccaBet Ghana will hire individuals for various roles across its centers nationwide.
At the launch event, CEO Malik Basintale highlighted YEA’s commitment to meaningful jobs. He said, “This partnership is not just about jobs; it’s about empowering young Ghanaians.”
He added that they are focused on fulfilling President John Dramani Mahama's vision of job creation.
Kobby Ampong, Marketing Manager at SoccaBet Ghana, shared their dedication to youth development. He stated, “Our goal is not just to fill roles; we invest in young people's futures.”
Ampong emphasized providing tools and mentorship for career growth through this partnership.
Additionally, discussions are ongoing about international work programs with SoccaBet Ghana. This could offer even more opportunities for Ghanaian youth.
This initiative helps YEA reach its target of creating over 300,000 jobs in total.
