You can’t be Ghanaian and oppose loot recovery – KSM fires

Veteran Ghanaian satirist and talk show host Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) is frustrated. He is upset with Ghanaians opposing efforts to recover stolen state funds.

On his KSM Show, he questioned this resistance. “I can’t understand this, honestly,” he said. “Some people are against recovering stolen funds. The government wants to retrieve our loot, yet some Ghanaians say no.”

He urged those against recovery efforts to reconsider their views. “If you’re against recovering stolen funds, you must not be a Ghanaian,” he stated. “You can’t be part of Ghana and worry about retrieving our loot.”

KSM also discussed a recent scandal involving a couple accused of defrauding the state. “How can two people allegedly dupe the country to that extent? Why? What allows it?” he asked.

He referenced reports about the National Service Scheme (NSS). An MP was allegedly consulted to pay the media to suppress a story. “These are serious issues,” he remarked.
