You’ve appointed over 15 journalists but snubbed pro-NDC media outlets – Mugabe fires Mahama

Mugabe Maase, a supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), criticized President John Dramani Mahama. He accused Mahama of appointing over fifteen journalists while ignoring pro-NDC media outlets.

Maase pointed out that Radio Gold, Accra FM, Ahotor FM, and Class FM were overlooked. Instead, journalists from Adom FM, JOY FM, and TV3 received appointments. He noted that media owned by Seidu Agongo also missed out on government positions.

Speaking on TV XYZ, Maase expressed feelings of betrayal. He said journalists who supported the NDC during tough times are now neglected. “Doesn’t Bodie Ansah deserve an appointment?” he asked.

He recalled how they worked hard for the party while others were absent. “When you needed us at 2 am, you called me,” he stated. Now, he claims Mahama has ignored his loyal supporters.

Maase mentioned that in Winneba, they had to sleep outside and got sick. He also noted complaints about Mahama changing his phone number.

He highlighted several snubbed journalists: Bobie Ansah, Valentina Ofori-Afriyie, Samuel Wutor, Nancy Obimpeh, and Alaska from Ahotor FM.

Maase insisted these individuals sacrificed for the NDC and deserve recognition without having to beg for it. He emphasized that he does not seek anything from the government now.

“I don’t need anything from the government,” he said firmly. “I’ve already lived my life.” He urged Mahama to do the right thing for those who supported him.
