Zera Mission Africa promotes cleanliness, supports the vulnerable in society

Zera Mission Africa is a non-governmental organization. They aim to promote a clean environment, good health, and socio-economic development. Recently, they launched a sanitation initiative in the Ahafo, Bono, and Bono East regions.

Previously, Zera Mission held workshops for teachers. These workshops provided training and support to enhance local education. They also implemented a surgical support scheme for those in need. Additionally, they conducted free medical screenings to identify health issues early.

More than 600 residents of Makala and Fawoman received free medical screenings. Boreholes were constructed in Dompofie and Makala to address water challenges. Women's groups received 90,000 cedis to help reduce poverty in rural areas. Some orphanages also received funds for feeding and education needs.

Bright Debrah is the Coordinator for Ahafo, Bono, and Bono East regions. He noted that health screening results showed the need for better sanitation practices. This finding led to the launch of their sanitation campaign.

In an interview with JoyNews in Goaso, Mr. Debrah discussed a recent clean-up exercise in Banda Gbao. He emphasized that this initiative shows their commitment to improving local lives.

Mr. Debrah urged stakeholders to educate communities on using and maintaining resources provided by the organization. He encouraged beneficiaries to use these resources wisely for better outcomes.

He assured residents that Zera Mission's initiatives are phased. Those who have not yet benefited should be patient as their turn will come.

"Our mission is to show Christ's love by supporting people's needs," he stated. The vision of Zera Missions Africa is to fulfill Christ's great commission by helping the sick, vulnerable, prisoners, orphans, widows, elderly people, and others in need.
