Zoomlion denies allegations of engaging landguards, reaffirms commitment to lawful operations

Zoomlion Ghana Limited has denied allegations about using landguards. These claims were reported by the Daily Guide newspaper on April 7, 2025.

In a statement from its Communications Directorate, Zoomlion called the allegations “misleading and unjustifiable.” The company emphasized that it does not employ or contract landguards for any purpose.

“Zoomlion Ghana Limited does not engage in unlawful activities,” the statement said. The company operates according to Ghanaian laws and is committed to ethical practices.

Zoomlion expressed disappointment over being linked to violence and illegality. “We unequivocally deny these allegations,” they stated. They advised addressing grievances through legal channels.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to integrity and professionalism. It aims to contribute to sustainable national development through lawful operations.
