Zoomlion honors sanitation worker for returning GH₵20,000 with integrity

Zoomlion Ghana Limited has honored Mr. Salifu Ibrahim, a Youth Employment Agency (YEA) beneficiary, for his honesty after he returned GH₵20,000 found during his sanitation duties in Tamale.

The reward ceremony, held on January 23, 2025, recognized Ibrahim’s integrity as he chose to safeguard the money and await the rightful owner, ultimately returning it when they came forward.

He was awarded a cash prize, U.S. dollars, and a motorbike.

Dr. Ato Sarpong, a board member of the Jospong Group of Companies, praised Ibrahim’s act of godliness, which elevated the company’s brand.

Ibrahim, who has worked for Zoomlion for eight years, expressed gratitude and highlighted his commitment to doing what is right for the nation’s collective progress.
