Christian Council Condemns Philadelphia Movement Leader's Statement on Jesus' Image
The Christian Council of Ghana has issued a warning. They caution Ghanaians against following false prophets and teachers. This warning follows Prophet Adom Kyei Duah's claim about replacing Jesus' image.
Prophet Duah suggested that in 500 years, his face would replace Jesus'. The Christian Council stated there is only one true Jesus Christ. They emphasized that His conception was immaculate.
The Council condemned Prophet Duah's suggestion as an insult to Christianity. They affirmed he is not the Jesus mentioned in the Bible. According to them, the true Jesus was begotten by Mary and crucified under Pontius Pilate.
The Council also noted that Jesus will return to reward those who do God's will. They warned against relying on miraculous spectacles to judge someone's anointing. Christians should avoid following false prophets claiming to be messiahs.
Furthermore, the Christian Council urged all Christians to disregard Prophet Duah's statements. They warned churches against spreading harmful doctrines that could mislead believers.
In response, Prophet Adom Kyei Duah claimed he received instructions for this change. He stated his image would be used worldwide on calendars and pictures in 500 years. His announcement shocked many netizens.
Recently, Prophet Duah opened a new church auditorium in Accra. The facility can seat 25,000 people, making it the largest church in Ghana. It surpasses the Perez Chapel auditorium, which holds 14,000 people.
Members of his congregation attended the commissioning of this new church building.
