'A historic moment' – Faith Ladies coach Raymond Fenny celebrates first-ever FA Cup triumph

Faith Ladies head coach Raymond Fenny called the FA Cup win a "historic moment." This victory marks the club's first-ever Women’s FA Cup title.

Faith Ladies came from behind to win 2-1 against Jonina Ladies. Erica Obeng Apreku scored both goals in extra time.

This win capped an impressive FA Cup run for Faith Ladies. They notably defeated Hasaacas Ladies 4-1 in the semi-finals.

Fenny expressed pride in his team's achievement. He said, “A team going on relegation and still winning the FA Cup is unheard of.”

He added that this might be the first time such a feat has happened.

Fenny noted that the players applied their training during the match. In previous league games, they lost focus after scoring.

He emphasized that going down doesn’t mean giving up. When they fell behind, they motivated each other to keep fighting.

Ultimately, they scored two goals and secured the cup victory.
