'I am satisfied with the three points against Young Apostles' - Ibrahim Tanko

Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko was pleased with his team's 3-0 win over Young Apostles. The match took place at the TNA stadium on Sunday.

All three goals were scored in the first half. Kamaradini Mamudu scored two goals and assisted the third. Captain Fatawu Sulemana headed in the final goal from Mamudu's cross.

After the game, Tanko praised his team's performance. He noted that they created many scoring opportunities in the first half.

"I think we had to score in the second half," he said. "But after three goals, they relaxed. Overall, I am satisfied with the three points and not conceding."

This victory ended a two-game losing streak for Tanko's team. They had lost 1-0 to Bibiani Gold Stars and Hearts of Lions.

With this win, Medeama SC achieved their 13th victory of the season. They have played 29 games and earned 44 points.

The result moved them to fifth place in the league standings. They are two points ahead of Hearts of Oak and nine points behind leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
