2024/25 ARFA Division 2 Middle League - Match Report: Benab FC, Ebony FC, Adom FC off to great start

The 2024/25 Ashanti Regional Division 2 promotional tournament began today. It took place at the Baba Yara Stadium. The opening matches featured exciting games.

All seven champions from the regular season are competing. They aim to secure a spot in first division football next season. The second-best team will also participate in this tournament.

The competition kicked off with Zone 3 champions Sasaamo Panin FC. They drew 2-2 against Zone 2 champions MidCity FC after conceding in the second half.

Ebony FC topped their group with a narrow 1-0 win over Pro-Sports Academy.

In Group B, Adom FC won a thrilling match against Acceler8z FC. They managed a close 3-2 victory despite tough opposition.

The final game of the day saw Zone 7 champions Benab FC win 1-0 over Jonnboe SC. Imam scored the only goal in the 50th minute.

Benab FC hopes to maintain their momentum in future matches. The next round of matches is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, at the same venue.
