2024/25: Asante Kotoko beat Chelsea to maintain league hunt, Vision edge Samartex in 5-goal thriller, Dreams pip Bechem United: Week 21 wrap-up

Asante Kotoko won 1-0 against Berekum Chelsea in Gameweek 21. Daniel Adjetey scored the only goal in the 85th minute. This victory brought Kotoko's points to 45, keeping them at the top of the table.

Aduana SC managed a late equalizer in a 2-2 draw with Young Apostles. Emmanuel Opoku scored both goals for Aduana. Mathias Amegbe and Razak Sarpong found the net for Young Apostles.

Karela United secured a 2-0 win over Legon Cities. Abdul Latif opened the scoring with a penalty in the first half. He also sealed the victory late in the game.

Dreams FC continued their good form with a 1-0 win against Bechem United. Joseph Esso scored the match's only goal in the 13th minute from a free kick.

Vision FC won a thrilling match against Samartex, finishing 3-2. Vision lost their lead twice but Nana Kwesi Amoah scored the winner with ten minutes left. Daniel Yemoh added two goals for Vision, while Alhassan Mankuyeli and Emmanuel Mamah scored for Samartex.

On Tuesday, Bibiani GoldStars beat Heart of Lions 2-1 to boost their promotion hopes. Samuel Kumi Attah and Gideon Anaba gave GoldStars a 2-0 halftime lead. Nana Oppong pulled one back for Lions in the second half.

Medeama came from behind to defeat Basake Holy Stars 2-1. Issah Yakubu put Holy Stars ahead early on. Kamaradini Mamudu equalized just before halftime.

Medeama missed an 85th-minute penalty by Yusif Mubarik but Derrick Fordjour scored in the 89th minute to secure victory.

Hearts of Oak will conclude this round by hosting Nations FC on Thursday, April 3.
