2024/25 GPL: Nations extend lead at the top, GoldStars and Kotoko share spoils, Young Apostles boost survival hopes: Gameweek 32 wrap-up

Nations FC had a strong second half, winning 3-0 against FC Samartex 1996. This victory brings them closer to their first Premier League title. Emmanuel Annor, Faisal Charwatey, and Kelvin Ampofo scored the goals.

At Dun’s Park in Bibiani, Gold Stars FC and Asante Kotoko ended in a goalless draw. Gold Stars are now three points behind Nations FC. Kotoko trails by five points.

Young Apostles improved their survival chances with a 3-1 win over Heart of Lions at Wenchi Stadium. Samuel Prempeh scored early in the 10th minute. Sakitey Foster and Hussein Issah added quick goals. Seedorf Anane scored for the Lions.

At Tuba AstroTurf, Joseph Esso's late penalty gave Dreams FC a 1-0 win against Berekum Chelsea. Dreams played the last 30 minutes with ten men.

Basake Holy Stars earned an important away point by drawing goalless with Bechem United at Nana Gyeabour Park.

Aduana FC won easily, beating Legon Cities 4-0 at Nana Agyemang Badu I Park. Gideon Boateng opened the scoring in the 39th minute. Elvis Addo, Kelvin Obeng, and Aled Boakye added goals in the second half.

Edward Agyemang's goal in the 7th minute led Vision FC to a 1-0 win over Karela United at Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex. This victory secures their place in next season's top flight.

On Friday night, Hearts of Oak defeated Accra Lions 3-1. Enock Asubonteng scored first for Hearts. Lawrence Setordjie equalized for Lions in the 70th minute. Late goals from Kwesi Asmah and Hamza Issah secured victory for Hearts.
