2024/25 GPL: Vision and Hearts of Oak share the spoils, Samartex deepen Legon Cities’ wounds, Kotoko held at home: Gameweek 27 roundup

Vision FC and Accra Hearts of Oak played to a 1-1 draw. The match took place at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema.

Hearts took the lead in the 38th minute. Kelvin Osei Asibey scored after a defensive mistake.

Two minutes into the second half, Vision FC equalized. Meschack Adjetey scored with a stunning shot from outside the box. Goalkeeper Benjamin Asare had no chance to save it.

At Baba Yara Stadium, Asante Kotoko drew 1-1 with Bechem United. Darlvin Yeboah scored for Bechem in the 59th minute. Kotoko equalized in the 80th minute through Albert Amoah's penalty.

Berekum Chelsea ended a two-game losing streak with a 1-0 win over Heart of Lions. Zackaria Fuseini scored the only goal in the 17th minute.

Karela United secured a vital 2-0 victory against Aduana FC. Adamu Alhassan was impressive, scoring in the 14th and 55th minutes.

Samartex defeated Legon Cities 2-0 away from home. Emmanuel Mamah opened the scoring in the 21st minute. Baba Musa Hamadu sealed the win in the 58th minute.

Bibiani GoldStars edged Young Apostles with a narrow 1-0 victory. Alex Aso scored just before halftime to secure three points.

On Saturday, Accra Lions came back to beat Basake Holy Stars 2-1. Prince Tweneboah gave Holy Stars an early lead from a penalty kick.

Second-half goals from Musa Hamzata and Lucky Nwafor turned the game around for Accra Lions.

In Tarkwa on Friday night, Medeama ended Dreams FC’s five-game winning streak decisively, winning 4-0. Kingsley Braye scored a hat-trick, while Yusif Mubarik added another goal to complete their dominance.
