Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko played to a goalless draw. This was an exciting match in the Ghana Premier League at Ohene Gyan Stadium.

Before kickoff, a minute of silence honored the victims of the 'May 9 disaster.' The entire stadium fell silent for this tribute.

Kotoko started strong and nearly scored early on. Patrick Asiedu's header from a corner kick went wide.

In the 17th minute, Kotoko appealed for a penalty. Emmanuel Amankwah seemed to bring down Kwame Opoku in the box, but the referee waved play on.

Hearts of Oak also came close to scoring. However, Henry Ansu made a crucial goal-line clearance for Kotoko.

After halftime, Stephen Appiah Asare had a great chance to score. His shot was saved by goalkeeper Mohammed Camara.

Kotoko quickly responded in the 55th minute. Kwame Opoku's strike was saved by goalkeeper Benjamin Asare.

Both teams pushed hard for a goal throughout the match. Despite their efforts, it ended in a goalless draw after full-time.
