Attram De Visser reached the semifinals of the MTN FA Cup. They defeated PAC Academy 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
PAC Academy scored first in the 63rd minute. Skipper Evans Sarfo converted a penalty kick. Gabriel Matumassey equalized for Attram De Visser in the 93rd minute. This sent the match to penalties.
Goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Ibrahim was the hero for Attram De Visser. He saved two penalties during the shootout.
Berekum Chelsea also advanced to the semifinals. They won 1-0 against Bechem United. Stephen Amankona scored in the 30th minute, finishing a flick from Jonah Attuquaye.
Golden Kick FC continued their FA Cup journey with a win. They defeated Karela United 5-3 in penalties after a scoreless draw. Zakaria Mumuni received a red card in the 83rd minute but they held on.
Asante Kotoko advanced with a last-minute win over True Democracy. Kotoko took an early lead through Saaka Dauda in the 13th minute. They missed another chance when Justice Blay's penalty hit the post.
True Democracy equalized with Isaac Botchway's deflected free-kick in the 62nd minute. In stoppage time, Kwame Opoku scored to secure victory for Kotoko.
Kotoko will face Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, May 11, in one semifinal. The other semifinal features Attram De Visser against Golden Kick on Saturday, May 10. Both matches will take place at Tarkwa TNA Park.
