2025 3×3 Hoop Rave: Groups Set for Basketball Championship

The groups for the 2025 3X3 Basketball Championship have been announced. Several high schools will compete in this inaugural edition. The 3X3 format is a shorter version of basketball.

A total of 42 Senior High Schools will participate. There are two categories: Girls and Boys. Eighteen schools will compete in the Girls Division, while 24 schools will compete in the Boys Division.

This year’s competition takes place from April 10 to April 12. It will be held at the Trust Sports Emporium in Accra, Ghana.

In the Boys Division, Groups D and B are considered the strongest. Group D includes Adisadel College, Prempeh College, Accra Academy, and Ghana Senior Technical School. Group B features PRESEC-Legon, Keta Senior High Technical School, Tamale Senior High School, and Mfantsipim School.

In the Girls Division, Group B is seen as the strongest group. It includes Ahantaman Girls Senior High School, Wesley Girls School, and St. John’s Grammar School.

The top-ranked schools from each group will advance to the next round. Additionally, the best second-ranked schools will also progress in both divisions.
