Consequently, Ghana's coach Otto Addo has left him out of the 25-man squad announced on Thursday for these vital fixtures. Ghana is set to face Angola in Luanda on November 15 and will host Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 18, 2024.
The Black Stars are at risk of missing the AFCON for the first time in two decades due to their poor performance in the qualifiers.
After four matches, they have lost two and drawn two, accumulating only two points and currently sitting third in the standings.
To keep their hopes alive for next year's tournament in Morocco, Ghana must win against the already-qualified Angola and Niger while relying on Sudan to stumble against these same teams.
