Ghana Celebrates Win Over D.R. Congo at 2025 Under-20 AFCON

Ghana’s Black Satellites will face Egypt in the quarterfinals of the 2025 AFCON Under-20 Championship. This match is crucial for reaching the semifinals and qualifying for the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Chile.

The game will take place on May 12 at 18:00 GMT. It will be held at June 30 Stadium. Another exciting match features Nigeria against defending champions Senegal on the same day at Suez Canal Stadium.

Sierra Leone will play Morocco, while South Africa faces the Democratic Republic of Congo in other quarterfinal matches.

Desmond Ofei's team topped Group C with seven points. They won two games and drew one during the preliminary stage. Ghana defeated Senegal and Central African Republic 1-0 each after drawing 1-1 with D.R. Congo in their opening game.
