Ghana's Black Stars finished the 2025 Unity Cup with a 4-0 victory over Trinidad and Tobago. This win secured them third place in the tournament.
The team started strong, showcasing slick passing. Jordan Ayew and Mohammed Fuseini both came close to scoring early on.
Captain Jordan Ayew broke the deadlock in just six minutes. He scored with a curler from outside the box, putting Ghana ahead.
Defender Razak Simpson then scored his first national goal. He headed the ball into the net after 11 minutes, doubling Ghana's lead.
Mohammed Fuseini added another goal in the 42nd minute. His fine finish put the Black Stars firmly in control of the match.
Lawrence Agyekum scored Ghana's fourth goal close to the hour mark. He finished neatly inside the box to extend their lead.
Christopher Bonsu had several attempts but couldn't score on his debut.
Barcelona youngster Abdul Aziz Issah also made his debut today. Felix Afena-Gyan returned to play for the first time since 2022.
Ghana will now focus on World Cup qualifiers in September. They will face Chad and Mali for a chance at next year's tournament.
