The Black Queens of Ghana will face either Rwanda or Egypt in the qualifiers for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Under coach Nora Hauptle, the team aims to secure back-to-back qualifications, having already earned a spot in next year’s tournament.
A total of 38 African nations will compete for 12 spots in the final, alongside host Morocco, which is hosting the competition for the third consecutive time.
Ghana, exempt from the first round due to its high FIFA ranking, will start in the second round against the winner of Rwanda vs. Egypt.
The qualification includes two rounds of home-and-away fixtures, with the first round scheduled for February 2025 and the second round in October 2025.
