Stephen Appiah, Vice Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, supports the national team. He believes they can win against Madagascar in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Appiah's support follows the Black Stars' impressive 5-0 victory over Chad. He encourages the team to maintain this momentum. The four-time African champions now lead Group I with 12 points from five matches.

This win boosts Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the World Cup. It also strengthens their reputation in the qualifiers.

At their hotel in Morocco, Appiah delivered an emotional speech to inspire the players. He urged them to rise to the occasion and make Ghana proud.

Asamoah Gyan also encourages the Black Stars to give their best against Madagascar. Otto Addo emphasizes that this match is crucial and like a final.

Appiah reminded players of the significance of wearing their jersey. He expressed confidence that they can defeat Madagascar. “We believe in you,” he said, urging them to make themselves and Ghana proud.

The former captain highlighted mental toughness as key for success. He noted that Madagascar presents a different challenge than Chad did.

Ghana currently leads by two points over second-placed Madagascar, who have 10 points. Comoros is third with nine points after losing to Mali, who have eight points in fourth place. Central African Republic sits fifth with four points.

The Black Stars will face Madagascar on Monday, March 24. A victory would give them a strong lead in Group I.
