“I was once a victim; But I survived” – Samson Deen calls for unity in Ghana sports leadership

Samson Deen is the President of the Ghana Paralympic Committee (GPC). He has called on Ghana’s sports leaders to unite. He believes unity is essential for national progress.

Deen made these remarks during a visit to Yaw Ampofo Ankrah. Ankrah is the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA). This visit followed their successful performance in Morocco.

Deen stressed resilience and inclusion in sports administration. He urged leaders not to let political divisions affect their work. He shared his own experience of overcoming challenges despite political differences.

The meeting took place at the NSA headquarters in Accra. It aimed to strengthen collaboration between mainstream sports bodies and para sports. Deen praised Ankrah for revitalizing the NSA and committed to supporting unity in sports development.
