Faisal Chibsah is a high-performance specialist. He believes Ghana has great football talent. However, the country underachieves due to systemic gaps, especially in education.
Chibsah discussed Ghana's football development. He emphasized that the nation can produce talent but lacks proper structures to refine it. Despite having a strong talent pool, the potential remains untapped.
He stated, "We are lucky that we can produce talent quickly." However, he feels they haven't maximized this opportunity. Ghanaian names appear globally, but the education level doesn't match player production.
Chibsah called for a holistic approach to player development. He wants improved education for coaches, players, families, and support systems. "We all have a role to play," he said.
He believes raising educational standards will lead to more talent production. Chibsah also noted that Ghana's outreach and awareness should yield better results in competitions.
He concluded by saying current educational levels indicate there is room for improvement. "We’d love to see an increase in quality," he added. This change could enhance domestic leagues and national teams' performance.
