“We’ll qualify for 2026 World Cup and excel” – Kamaldeen Sulemana

Black Stars forward Kamaldeen Sulemana is focused on World Cup qualification. The 2026 World Cup will be hosted in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Sulemana has faced challenges recently. The team was eliminated in the group stage of the last two Africa Cup of Nations. They also failed to qualify for this year's competition.

Reflecting on these issues, Sulemana said, “We as players take the blame. We take full responsibility for not qualifying. We have apologized to the country and our fans.”

Ghana's hopes improved after a strong 5-0 win over Chad. They also secured a convincing 3-0 victory against Madagascar during March’s international break. These wins put the Black Stars at the top of Group I with 15 points.

Looking ahead, they are preparing for important matches in September. They will face Chad and Mali in Matchday 7 and 8. After that, they will play Comoros and the Central African Republic to secure their spot in the tournament.
