Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren spoke about the recent training camp.
The nine-day camp took place at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram. It helped build trust, chemistry, and team spirit among players.
This camp was crucial for Ghana's preparation for the Women’s AFCON. The tournament will be held in Morocco from July 5 to 26.
Ghana is in Group C with South Africa, Mali, and Tanzania. South Africa is the defending champion after winning in 2022.
Bjorkegren expressed his satisfaction with the camp experience. He said, “It has been great.”
He noted that spending nine days together helped players bond. They had many training sessions and a couple of games as well.
Bjorkegren emphasized that longer time together helps players get to know each other better.
