Abdul Aziz Issah set for Dreams FC return after loan deal with Barcelona ends

Ghana midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah will return to Dreams FC. His loan deal with FC Barcelona is ending.

Issah joined Barcelona's junior team alongside David Oduro from Accra Lions. However, his time at Barcelona B was challenging. He played only 26 minutes in total.

Issah also represented Ghana at the CAF Under-20 AFCON in Egypt. The Black Satellites lost to the host nation in penalties, missing World Cup qualification. Issah scored against Egypt, helping Ghana draw 2-2 after extra time.

He converted Ghana’s first penalty kick in the shootout. The 19-year-old will turn 20 in November. He excelled with Dreams FC during their semifinal run in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Issah was nominated for Young Player of the Year at the CAF Awards. Before his loan to Barcelona, he won the MTN FA Cup and African Games.
