Accra Sports Stadium to undergo further renovation after Chad clash

The Accra Sports Stadium will undergo further renovations after Ghana's crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Chad.

Minister of Sports and Recreation, Mr. Kofi Adams, confirmed this on TV3 Sports on March 17, emphasizing the need to refurbish the stadium to meet modern standards.

Although the pitch has been improved and the sanitary facilities, dressing rooms, and air conditioning have been fixed, the stadium remains in poor condition.

The renovation work will begin after Ghana's match against Chad on March 21, which is a key Group I game in the African qualifiers. The Black Stars are eager to win to boost their chances of qualifying for next year’s World Cup.
