Accra to host new CAF Executive Committee maiden Meeting on April 26

Ghana’s capital, Accra, will host the first meeting of the new Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). This meeting is scheduled for April 26, 2025. It will take place at the five-star Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City at 10:00 AM.

The meeting aims to make important decisions for developing African football. According to CAF Statutes, new Vice-Presidents will be elected during this gathering.

Electing Vice-Presidents fulfills a key governance requirement. Their roles are crucial for advancing African football.

The CAF President will chair the meeting. He was recently endorsed for another four-year term by all 54 Member Associations. The agenda includes discussions on development programs, competitions, and governance issues.

Additionally, the meeting will highlight CAF’s initiatives to promote football excellence in Africa. Ghana is prepared to welcome experienced CAF administrators from across the continent.
