Aduana Stars clinch first away win of the season with 1-0 victory over Legon Citie

Aduana Stars secured their first away win of the season by defeating bottom-placed Legon Cities 1-0 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on December 26, 2024.

Abdel Latif Bamba's 43rd-minute goal, set up by Godfred Poku Wakii's precise cross, was enough for Aduana to seal the victory. Legon Cities had early chances, with Frederick Akatuk failing to capitalize on a mistake by Aduana's goalkeeper Massawudu Inusah.

Despite pushing for an equalizer, Legon Cities couldn't break Aduana’s strong defense. The win, Aduana's first in five matches, lifts them to 11th place with 17 points. Legon Cities remain at the bottom, winless in four matches, and will face Hearts of Oak next.
