African Boxing Union names David Ikpabi as new Chairman after Remi Aboderin ousting

The African Boxing Union (ABU) has appointed David Ikpaibi from Nigeria as the new chairman of the ABU Western Region Title Committee.

This announcement was made in a press release on Monday, April 14, 2025.

The ABU also introduced three other members to the committee.

These new members are Jean Paul Dago from Côte D’Ivoire, Dr. Kosovo Adote from Togo, and Patrick Johnson from Ghana.

They will assist the chairman in running the committee effectively.
