Alcaraz wins Monte Carlo Masters

Carlos Alcaraz won his first Monte Carlo Masters title yesterday. He defeated Italian Lorenzo Musetti with a score of 3-6, 6-1, 6-0.

This victory is Alcaraz's sixth Masters title. The 21-year-old Spaniard has also won four Grand Slam titles. It is his most prestigious title since winning Wimbledon last year.

“I’m just really happy to have won Monte Carlo for the first time,” said Alcaraz. He lost in his first match during his only previous appearance in 2022.

“It’s been a really difficult week with a lot of difficult situations,” he added.
