Ghanaian youngster Alex Opoku Sarfo is making headlines in Cyprus. He plays for Aris Limassol FC. His impressive performance has earned him a nomination for Player of the Month for May.
The 20-year-old moved to Europe from Benab FC in Ghana. He has excelled at both his parent club and during his loan at AEZ Zakakiou. In the recent season, he made over 30 league appearances.
Aris Limassol FC finished second in the league. This means they will compete in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying round. Sarfo is nominated alongside Senegalese international Yannick Gomis, Karol Struski, and Mihlali Mayambela from South Africa.
