Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyantakyi has urged immediate action to address the challenges facing Ghanaian football.
Despite Ghana's historical dominance, the current administration under Kurt Okraku has struggled, with the Black Stars failing to progress past the group stages in the 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments.
They also failed to qualify for the 2025 AFCON, highlighting ongoing issues. Nyantakyi acknowledged the decline, noting that during his tenure, the Black Stars regularly reached semifinals or finals, but now the team faces persistent setbacks.
He called for urgent reforms, whether in the technical team, the Football Association, or the management, to restore the country's football success.
