Ghana captain Andre Ayew has expressed his excitement after scoring his third goal of the season in Le Havre’s 1-1 draw against Angers on Sunday.
Ayew came on as a substitute in the 70th minute and quickly made an impact by scoring in the 73rd minute. However, a late equalizer from Florent Hanin denied Le Havre their first win of the year.
Ayew, who joined the club in October 2024 after months without a team, has been a standout performer despite Le Havre’s struggles.
With three goals in 13 appearances, his form has sparked talks of a possible return to the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Following the match, Ayew reaffirmed his determination, stating, “Always moving forward, never giving up.”
