His first goal came in the 82nd minute, after a blocked shot rebounded kindly for him to slot past the goalkeeper. In the 90th minute, Amad combined with Christian Eriksen to give United a 2-1 lead, before completing his hat-trick in stoppage time with a third.

The treble was his first-ever senior career hat-trick, doubling his Premier League goal tally for the season in just eight minutes. This marked United's first Premier League hat-trick since Ronaldo's in 2022, highlighting a notable drought in the club’s post-Ferguson era.
