Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has stated that Andre Ayew is not concerned about being left out of Ghana's squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Despite Ayew’s strong performance for Le Havre in Ligue 1, where he has scored five goals, he was not selected for the matches against Chad and Madagascar.
Agyemang-Badu emphasized that the selection criteria are based on player performance, and while Ayew is performing well, the coach's decision must be respected. He added that Ayew is unfazed by being excluded.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars have opened camp in Accra, with players including Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Thomas Partey arriving. Ghana will play Chad on March 21 and Madagascar on March 24, currently sitting second in Group I.
