Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo finished the 2024/25 Premier League season strong. He scored twice in Bournemouth's 2-0 win over Leicester City. This victory came on the final day of the season.
Semenyo’s goals secured ninth place for Bournemouth. This matches their best-ever finish in the Premier League. He ended the season with 11 goals and five assists in 37 games.
The 24-year-old scored his first goal in the 74th minute. He reacted quickly to a chaotic situation after a corner kick. His second goal came just two minutes before full time, a stunning shot from outside the box.
With this performance, Semenyo becomes only the second Ghanaian to score double digits in one Premier League season. Tony Yeboah was the first, achieving this with Leeds United in 1994/95.
His impressive season has drawn attention from top European clubs. Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly watching him ahead of summer transfers.
