Appiah shines bright as Boreham Wood secures promotion

Former Black Stars striker Kwesi Appiah has received three awards. He helped Boreham Wood earn promotion to the National League.

The 34-year-old was key to the team's success. He won Player's Player of the Season, Supporters' Player of the Year, and Golden Boot awards.

Appiah scored 24 goals in 35 matches. This included two hat-tricks. His performance has made him a fan favorite at Boreham Wood.

He expressed gratitude to fans, saying, "Thank you, Wood Army! What a roller coaster it's been." He added that he enjoyed the season and appreciated their support.

Appiah also said he feels "honoured, humbled, and hungry" for future challenges.

In 2015, he won the Samsung Fair Play Award at AFCON. He was part of the Ghanaian team that lost to Ivory Coast in penalties.
