Arne Slot confirms ongoing talks with Salah, Van Dijk, and Alexander-Arnold over contract extensions

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot stated that the club is in "constant talks" with Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose contracts expire at the end of the season.

As of January 1, they can negotiate with overseas clubs. Despite the ongoing contract uncertainty, Slot expressed no concern, saying, "As long as they keep performing like this, the head coach is happy."

He emphasized that he generally doesn't discuss contract matters, adding, "Let's wait and see what happens." Slot also provided an update on injured players Ibrahima Konaté and Conor Bradley, confirming neither would be fit for the upcoming West Ham match, though they could return soon
