Arsenal fans push for Carlos Baleba as Thomas Partey’s successor

Arsenal fans are calling for the club to sign Brighton’s Carlos Baleba as a long-term replacement for Thomas Partey.

With Partey and Jorginho set to be out of contract this summer, Arsenal are expected to reinforce their midfield.

While the Gunners were linked with Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi, competition from Real Madrid has left the deal uncertain.

Baleba’s standout performances, particularly in Brighton’s 3-0 win over Chelsea, have caught the attention of Arsenal supporters, who believe he possesses similar qualities to Partey.

However, Brighton’s reputation for demanding high fees means a transfer won’t be cheap.

The 21-year-old, signed from Lille for £23 million in 2023, is currently valued at £30 million, but Brighton could demand significantly more, as seen in Moisés Caicedo’s £115 million Chelsea move.
