Arsenal rekindle interest in West Ham star Mohammed Kudus as summer trasnsfer window nears

Arsenal are reportedly renewing their interest in Mohammed Kudus. The Ghanaian forward plays for West Ham United. The Gunners want to strengthen their attack for the summer transfer window.

Injuries to key players have hurt Arsenal this season. Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Jesus have all missed games. Adding depth is a priority for the club.

Kudus has been on Arsenal's radar for some time. TalkSPORT journalist Alex Crook reports fresh interest in the 24-year-old. West Ham is open to selling him to raise funds. However, it seems unlikely that Arsenal will pay his £90 million release clause.

Previous reports from Football Insider noted Arsenal's scouting of Kudus. They have monitored his performances closely since November. The club is waiting to see more before making a formal approach.

Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023. He has shown moments of brilliance but faced challenges this season. Despite inconsistent team performances, he remains a regular starter.

In the current Premier League season, he has made 29 appearances. He has scored four goals and provided three assists.

Mohammed Kudus – Season Statistics:

- 2024/25: 32 appearances, 4 goals, 3 assists
- 2023/24: 48 appearances, 18 goals, 10 assists

Arsenal seeks versatility and creativity in their frontline. Kudus could be a good fit due to his ability to play various attacking roles. It remains uncertain if Arsenal will meet West Ham’s financial demands, but interest in Kudus continues.
