Asamoah Gyan blames "Evil People" for Ghana’s trophy drought

Asamoah Gyan attributed Ghana's failure to win a major international football trophy for decades to the actions of unnamed “evil people.” The country has not won a major title since its 1982 Africa Cup of Nations victory and has lost three finals since then.

In a viral Instagram Live session, Gyan claimed that these individuals have tarnished Ghana’s reputation, but he did not name specific people.

He also referred to political manipulation during his involvement with the New Patriotic Party's campaign.

Gyan, who resigned from his role with the party’s manifesto committee, now focuses on youth development through his Asamoah Gyan Foundation, aiming to build sports academies and mentorship programs.
