Asamoah Gyan urges Ghanaians to support Mahama's government after peaceful election

Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has urged Ghanaians to support the incoming NDC government following their 2024 election victory.

He called for unity, urging citizens to focus on improving the country rather than party politics.

Gyan also highlighted the need for a change in attitudes, criticizing price inflation and economic hardships caused by unregulated practices.

Additionally, he congratulated John Dramani Mahama on his return as president and reaffirmed his focus on philanthropic work, having earlier distanced himself from politics. Gyan remains Ghana’s all-time top scorer.
