Asante Kotoko express strong interest in Dreams FC midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah

Asante Kotoko aims to sign Dreams FC midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah.

The Porcupine Warriors want to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. The Ghanaian wonderkid has become a key target.

Issah joined Barcelona on loan before the 2024/25 campaign. He has an option to buy after impressing in the CAF Confederation Cup. Dreams FC reached the semifinals during that tournament.

Since joining Barcelona, Issah has played 26 minutes in two matches. His performance shows his potential from Ghana's junior ranks.

He is expected to return to Dreams FC at season's end. Barcelona will not trigger the purchase option in his contract.

Reports say Kotoko has started talks with Dreams FC for Issah’s transfer. Coach Karim Zito, who recently joined Kotoko, will play a key role in this deal.

Currently, Issah is with the Black Stars for the 2025 Unity Cup tournament. This tournament starts on Wednesday, May 27.

Kotoko is determined to make acquisitions for the 2025/26 football campaign.
