Asante Kotoko secured a 2-0 victory over Bibiani Goldstars in the Ghana Premier League, extending their winning streak to four matches.
The win propelled Kotoko to second place, just three points behind the leaders. Justice Blay opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a penalty after a Goldstars defender handled the ball. Kotoko controlled the first half, creating numerous chances while limiting Goldstars' attacks.
The visitors' challenge worsened in the 36th minute when Bright Boakye Kyereh was sent off for a reckless tackle. Despite being a man down, Goldstars held firm until the 74th minute, when Kwame Opoku sealed the win with a stunning goal to double Kotoko’s lead.
