Asante Kotoko set to appoint new Technical Director amid restructuring process at club

Asante Kotoko is set to appoint a new Technical Director to support head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, according to Kessben FM.

This decision follows recent changes to the club's Interim Management Committee (IMC), with Ogum stepping down as a member to focus entirely on coaching. The restructuring, sanctioned by club patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Manhyia Palace, aims to improve the team’s performance.

Kotoko recently ended a five-game winless streak with a victory over Aduana Stars, but the team remains under pressure.

Currently 7th in the Ghana Premier League standings with 18 points from 12 matches, the club hopes the new technical director will enhance their sporting strategy and help achieve better results in the league.
