Asante Kotoko have signed 29-year-old forward Sampson Eduku to a one-and-a-half-year contract after a successful medical.

Eduku joins from Iraqi club Al Quwa Al Jawiya, bringing valuable experience and a strong goal-scoring record.

He previously played for Samartex and Tamale City, where he had an impressive 2022/23 season, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists.

His performances earned him a move to Iraq, where he continued his strong form. Kotoko hopes Eduku's experience and goal-scoring ability will strengthen their squad as they aim for the Ghana Premier League title.

Currently in sixth place with 28 points from 16 matches, the club believes his arrival will bolster their forward line and improve their title chances.
