Asante Kotoko to appoint assistant technical director - Kwesi Appiah confirms

Asante Kotoko's Head of Sporting Affairs, Kwesi Appiah, announced the club will appoint an assistant technical director soon. Malik Jabir, a club legend, has taken over as technical director.

Appiah praised Jabir's willingness to travel with the team and assist head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

Ogum, previously on the Interim Management Committee, will focus solely on coaching.

The changes come ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League resumption, with Kotoko facing rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday at Baba Yara Stadium.
